I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant, which isn't far along, but I'm dealing with nausea and all the other early symptoms. All I want right now is to stay home and rest.
However, my boyfriend thinks there's no harm in me working. He says it's okay to work and nothing bad will happen. When I suggest he could work more instead, he argues that we could use the extra money for things like a crib, a stroller, and other baby essentials.
It feels like he doesn't care that I'm pregnant, even if it's just early on. Is this normal? Did anyone push you to work while pregnant? And until what stage did you work?
I'm really unsure of what to do. I'm 19, and my boyfriend is 21!
