The new 12,500-square-foot emergency center located south of Wylie Elementary on U.S. Highway 259 boasts cutting-edge resources designed for efficiency and care. Featuring 24-hour emergency services across 13 exam rooms and four triage rooms, the center ensures that advanced imaging and laboratory services are readily accessible. A Community Investment
Over $14 million has been invested into making CHRISTUS Emergency Center Henderson a beacon of health and service. Providing nearly 40 new healthcare jobs, the facility is staffed by board-certified experts proficient in dealing with everything from minor illnesses to severe conditions such as heart attacks and strokes. As Hancock insightfully noted, “You can have the best healthcare in the world, but if people cannot access it, then what good is it?”
Broadening the Scope
The opening of the emergency center is just one part of CHRISTUS Health’s vigorous expansion strategy in East Texas. Future plans include upcoming facilities in Palestine and Mount Pleasant.
